Region KNA1: Planned Maintenance, week 43 (2025-10-20 - 2025-10-24)

Dear customer,

We are reaching out to inform you about an upcoming maintenance window affecting Cleura Public Cloud, region KNA1 (Karlskrona, Sweden).

General information

• We will carry out maintenance in Cleura Public Cloud, region KNA1 (Karlskrona, Sweden).
• The maintenance window starts: 2025-10-20 at 08:00 CEST.
• The maintenance window ends: 2025-10-24 at 17:00 CEST.
• Our maintenance will not require any customer intervention before or during the maintenance window.

Customer impact

• During this maintenance window, we anticipate impact to our network as we upgrade our network nodes and control plane. This can be noticed through short network outages (from a few seconds up to 30 seconds) and re-connection of your VPN tunnels together with small interruptions on OpenStack APIs during the following time periods:

  • 2025-10-20 at 17:30 - 20:30 CEST
  • 2025-10-21 at 17:30 - 20:30 CEST
  • 2025-10-22 at 17:30 - 20:30 CEST
  • 2025-10-23 at 17:30 - 21:30 CEST

• Certain hashing algorithms (used for some older passwords) are being deprecated in this release. As such, we strongly advise customers to reset the passwords for their OpenStack API users.

• As with any maintenance, however, the actual upgrades, restarts, and patching can also affect your services. Please get in touch with our support if you experience any unexpected behaviour in your environment.

Scope:

During this maintenance window in KNA1, several improvements will be implemented – from functionality to security alignment.
The major part of the scope is an OpenStack upgrade from Caracal to Epoxy, which will add new functionality to OpenStack services.
